Job description

Civil Engineering Solutions, Inc (CES), located in Milford, Michigan has an opportunity for a motivated, hard-working civil engineer. This role supports senior project managers to serve a variety of clients and will include various meetings, plan review and design projects. The role will include; municipal plan reviews, QAQC internal design projects, assistance with permitting and cost estimating; development of standard bid documents and oversight of bidding; communication with residents, and staff; meetings with clients; project tracking including budgets and schedules; easement acquisition, etc. Compensation is based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Local and State permitting requirements
  • Contract administration experience
  • Assisting in mentoring staff
  • Verbal and written reports to clients/public

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 yrs of experience in civil engineering
  • Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan, preferred
  • Design knowledge of stormwater, water main, sanitary sewer, pathways and roads
  • Contract administration
