S. A. Miro, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated design engineer to join our team. This position includes the opportunity to design a diverse range of projects nationwide. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing project documents and engineering calculations. The design engineer will also review shop drawing submittals and perform site visits during construction.


Qualifications:

Three or more years of Revit modeling experience in the field of structural engineering

Graduate from an accredited college or university, preferably with a Master of Science degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering

Registration as an EIT by passing the FE exam.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering in structural engineering design of commercial projects.

Experience in office, institutional, multi-family, parking structures, retail, health care and mixed-use, and light industrial projects preferred.

Work experience includes responsibility for completing structural component and system design in various structural framing systems.

Experience in using any of the following software: Revit Structure, RISA, Bentley software including RAM and CONCEPT, CSI software including ETABS and SAFE

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
