Structural / Civil Engineering Manager - Salem, Ohio - JOB 26-00621

Salary Range: $100K - $150K Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

Salem, Ohio area manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Structural/Civil Engineering Manager with strong technical knowledge and exceptional leadership / communication skills to lead a team of engineers, manage projects and timelines, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing consistent guidance, feedback, and professional support
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional departments to define project scopes, priorities, and timelines
  • Manage the execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to high-quality standards
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and foster the professional growth of your direct reports
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and technical practices.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top-tier engineering talent 
    Serve as the "go-to " technical advisor for the team, troubleshooting complex structural or civil challenges
  • 5+ years of proven experience in engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
