We are seeking a motivated and driven Engineer I - Civil to join our team. ANS is a rapidly growing, emerging civil engineering firm focusing on civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the US. The ideal candidates will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering projects and services in our team-oriented environment. Under the direction of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to the Renewables industry in Solar and Battery Storage projects.
Job Responsibilities
  • Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidates will complete civil engineering designs and the generation of construction plans and specifications, technical calculations, exhibits and reports. 
  • Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups 
  • Basic understanding of Site Grading & Storm Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control and Storm Water Best Management Practices with strong desire to learn and an interest in civil engineering design.  
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and good communication skills
Position Requirements
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution or equivalent Engineering B.S 
  • EIT Preferred
  • 0-3 years of experience
Software Expertise
  • 2D CAD Intermediate
  • Civil 3D CAD Novice. Able to create basic alignments and existing profiles
  • Google Earth, Microsoft Suite, AutoTURN
$68,200 - $76,800 a year
