We are a growing civil engineering and land surveying consulting firm supporting land development, infrastructure, transportation, and utility projects across the Southeast. Our team is known for delivering high quality engineering solutions with precision, responsiveness, and strong client service. With offices in Coats, NC and Lakeland, FL, we are continuing to expand our civil engineering team and are looking for a Professional Engineer who thrives in land development design, project coordination, and client facing engineering leadership. Their civil engineering group specifically supports grading, road design, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control, and feasibility planning for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.

Job Details

• Lead land development engineering design for grading, stormwater, roadway, drainage, utility, and site layout plans for commercial, residential, and mixed use projects

• Prepare and review stormwater management reports, drainage studies, erosion and sediment control plans, and permitting packages for local and state agencies

• Oversee roadway geometry, horizontal and vertical layout, utility coordination, and site access design for development and infrastructure projects

• Manage project schedules, client communication, municipal coordination, and technical deliverables through all phases of design and permitting

• Provide mentorship and QA/QC oversight to junior engineers, CAD designers, and cross functional project team members

Preferred Background

• PE license required

• Strong land development civil engineering background

• Experience with grading, stormwater, road design, utilities, and site permitting

• Civil 3D proficiency strongly preferred

• Background working with residential, commercial, municipal, or DOT adjacent site projects

• Ability to work from either Coats, NC or Lakeland, FL office locations
