Martin/Martin is seeking an experienced senior project civil engineer in support of projects in our Albuquerque office. The hired individual will support civil design throughout New Mexico and the Southwest for site and land development.

The Team


Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.


Responsibilities

  • Assists in conceptual design.
  • Assists in fee determination and proposal preparation.
  • Fills out Project Setup Forms and reviews/fills out work authorizations.
  • Establishes a QA/QC plan for each project.
  • Acts as a mentor for younger engineers and assists with their career development.
  • Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.
  • Follows up on collection of account receivables.
Requirements:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
  • 10+ years of progressive civil engineering design experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of New Mexico (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of start date)
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Albuquerque area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

  • Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills

Compensation


The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

  • Base Salary
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin’s annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual’s job-level and annual company performance.
