Dewberry is looking for a Project Manager with Site/Civil Engineering design and management experience to join our site infrastructure planning and design practice. This position has the flexibility to be located in any of our Northern Virginia offices. This position's primary role is tied to federal clients across the nation, and municipal clients throughout the greater Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area. You will be joining an established practice, focused on bringing the full capabilities of the Dewberry enterprise to bear on our multi-year, task order contracts, growing and maintaining relationships with our customers, and supporting our nation's critical infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership and management of federal and municipal civil design task orders as well as stand-alone civil design contracts for major projects.
  • Manages project teams that provide technical guidance and design in all areas of work associated with facilities planning, design, construction, and operation.
  • Grows and maintains positive external and internal relationships through an appropriate and timely mix of communications and personal involvement.
  • Leads development of project work plans, including internal budgets, schedule, work assignments, the process of technical development, and coordination of both in-house and out of house disciplines.
  • Assigns duties to team, manages, and leads team efforts, including subcontractor integration.
  • Assures that the design review and QC processes are effective.
  • Initiates and reviews invoices and assists in the collection of past due accounts receivable.
  • Monitors and, as authorized, executes contract modifications based upon modifications to scope.
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains project budgets.
  • Documents and assures compliance with project goals.
  • Performs duties while maintaining an agreed-upon level of utilization.
  • Performs other related work as apparent or assigned.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS in Civil Engineering required.
  • 7+ years of progressive technical experience in the project management and delivery of professional civil engineering services for planning, design, and construction phase services.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United State
  • PE preferred.
  • Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain a secret clearance.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
  • Experience with assignments for the Federal Government is a plus

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $116,000-$150,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
