We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead a variety of municipal infrastructure projects - including roadway, utility, and site development improvements. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated team that makes a difference for local governments and the communities they serve.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the design and delivery of civil engineering projects for municipal clients, including roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and site development.
  • Prepare, review, and approve design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with municipal clients, contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects meet all applicable standards and permitting requirements.
  • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration efforts to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Conduct field visits, site evaluations, and progress inspections as needed.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation for municipal staff, elected officials, and public meetings.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, including project management.
  • Proven experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects (public works, utilities, drainage, or transportation).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of FDOT standards, Florida stormwater regulations, and local government permitting processes.
  • Familiarity with Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department (EPGMD) permitting process and local development standards.
  • Experience with coordinating with agencies such as FDOT District 4, South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), and Broward County Water and Wastewater Services.
