RQ is a privately held, full-service design-build firm, specializing in fast-track commercial construction for the Department of Defense, and offering comprehensive solutions that integrate design, engineering, and construction under one roof.
We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. As a Civil Engineer, you'll work on multiple unique projects, ensuring they meet U.S. military design standards. Your day may include drafting developing site plans, prepare grading and drainage designs, and work collaboratively with a team of other Engineers and Designers.

Pay: $110,000-$135,000 per year DOE

Education, experience and skill requirements for this position include:
  • A BS degree in Civil Engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position
  • Licensed Professional Engineer is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years qualifying experience as a civil designer
  • Previous experience in the design-build construction industry
  • Department of Defense (DoD) experience is preferred
  • Specific software literacy required: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Work and MS Excel
  • Travel to jobsites, as needed, is required
