Civil Engineer โ€“ Senior Technical

Our growth offers an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Engineer to oversee land development projects from start to finish. This role requires direct project execution, and ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, budget, and timeline.

A successful candidate in this role will have 8+ years of experience as a civil engineer with a PE license in the state they will be working out of. This individual will have experience with leadership and mentoring junior staff members.

The role primarily focuses on land development projects primarily within the retail, commercial, and residential space and will focus on working municipal agencies and multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities Include:

ยท Site Layout

ยท Grading and Earthwork calculations

ยท Storm Water Management Design and Permitting

ยท Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design and Permitting

ยท Preparation/Submission of Local Land Development Permits

ยท Quality Assurance

ยท Mentoring and Development of Junior Staff

Required Experience:

ยท 8 years of civil or utility-related engineering experience

ยท PE License, preferred

ยท Site layout, grading, storm water and erosion control design expertise

ยท Civil-related utility design expertise

ยท Trenchless technology design expertise

ยท Construction/constructability expertise as it relates to production of design drawings and resolution of field issues

ยท Foundation/geotechnical experience and understanding

ยท Specification writing

ยท Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers is a plus
