Detroit-based contract security company City Shield Security Services is hiring an in house trainer to join our team. This person will report to the Director of Training and work out of our Detroit headquarters. We are looking for someone with prior teaching or training experience that can host training sessions in an engaging, informative manner, maintain training records, and train at our work sites when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for employees on various topics related to safety, security, and conflict management.
- Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, and interactive activities.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees to enhance their performance.
-Maintain training records in our employee database and produce records when needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a trainer, teacher, or in a related field
- Experience in the security industry preferred but subject matter training is provided
- Willingness to meet with clients and managers to determine site specific training criteria
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
As a Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our organization. Your expertise in conflict management, law enforcement, and loss prevention will be instrumental in training our employees to handle various situations effectively.
