Job Summary:

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking full-time physicians to become part of our new Black Diamond Free Standing Emergency Room located on Norvell Bryant Highway in Citrus County, FL opening early in 2026.
Qualified Candidates:
  • Must be board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Family Medicine and Internal Medicine candidates with 2 years of extensive emergency medicine experience will be considered
  • new graduates accepted
Full-service emergency care:
HCA Black Diamond Free Standing ED will be an extension of Citrus Hospital | HCA Florida Citrus Hospital
Emergency department features:
Services and amenities at our state-of-the-art freestanding emergency room include:
  • Private patient triage area
  • Comfortable treatment rooms
  • A dedicated pediatric treatment room
  • Fast-track rooms for patients with less urgent illnesses and injuries
  • Advanced patient monitoring equipment
  • Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists at HCA South Shore Hospital.
