  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Establish state-of-the-art techniques for designing, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting highly complex computer operating and hardware systems.
  • Identify and direct resolution of complex hardware and software interface issues, serving as subject matter expert on emerging virtualization technologies.
  • Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.
  • Conduct and approve end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize system operations across the life cycle.
  • Supervise assigned technical staff, including subordinate managers.
  • Direct multiple contractor and subcontractor teams through project completion.
  • Oversee and monitor performance across several disciplines and take steps to resolve issues as required.
  • Interact with the Government regarding technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • One of the following combinations of education and engineering experience: High School Diploma + 12 years; Associate's Degree + 10 years; Bachelor's Degree + 8 years; Master's Degree + 6 years; or PhD + 4 years.
  • Demonstrated experience engineering desktop application packaging and deployment infrastructures.
  • Experience designing and implementing application virtualization and distribution improvements at scale.
  • Experience automating manual deployment processes.
  • Experience developing system architecture and design documentation.
