How You’ll Contribute

Kaufman Rossin is seeking a VP of Platform Engineering to join our growing Information Technology team. In this role, you will lead the strategy, delivery, and governance of KR’s Platform Engineering function, including AI application development, Salesforce CRM, Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365, automation and application integration, M Files document management, and our global delivery team in Bengaluru.

Platform Engineering Leadership & Strategy

  • Define the technical roadmap for cloud platforms, DevOps, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and AI assisted engineering tools
  • Build, develop, and retain a high performing global engineering team across South Florida and Bengaluru
  • Manage the Platform Engineering budget, including headcount, cloud costs, tools, and vendor contracts
  • Lead transformational initiatives while fostering professional development, accountability, and strong performance AI Applications (Internal & Client-Facing)

AI Applications

  • Establish the AI use case roadmap, model selection strategy, and governance framework
  • Oversee the development of Azure based AI applications, including retrieval augmented generation, document intelligence, conversational agents, and client solutions
  • Ensure responsible AI practices through content filtering, data isolation, audit logging, and appropriate governance controls

Salesforce CRM

  • Provide strategic oversight of Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to support campaign management, client engagement, and relationship strategies
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions align with business objectives, integration standards, and user needs

Azure and AWS Cloud Infrastructure

  • Lead cloud infrastructure strategy across Azure and AWS, including architecture, governance, security, and cost management
  • Oversee the migration from AWS to Azure and the transition from Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Provide leadership across the Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Purview, and Sentinel

Automation and Application Integration

  • Lead KR’s automation capabilities across Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, Workato, and MuleSoft
  • Define build, buy, and platform strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, and return on investment
  • Establish standards for application integration, automation governance, and solution delivery

M Files Document Management

  • Lead the technical implementation and ongoing development of M Files, including architecture, configuration, and integration with Salesforce and Azure
  • Ensure the platform supports the document management, audit, security, and compliance requirements of a CPA firm

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Manage strategic relationships with Microsoft, Salesforce, AI providers, automation platforms, and other technology partners
  • Lead vendor evaluations, requests for proposals, proof of concept assessments, and technology recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, Data Insights, PMO, Operations, and business leaders
  • Communicate complex technical strategies clearly to executive, client, business, and technical audiences

Requirements

How You’ll Stand Out

  • 15 or more years of progressive leadership experience across software development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering. Deep expertise in Azure and AWS architecture, governance, cost management, DevOps, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep
  • Proven leadership experience with AI and machine learning applications, including large language models, retrieval augmented generation, Azure Open AI, responsible AI, and model selection. Strong knowledge of automation and integration technologies, including Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, Workato, and MuleSoft
  • Experience implementing M Files or a comparable document management system
  • Experience working within a regulated, document intensive, or professional services environment
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or a comparable enterprise architecture framework
