Job description

Title: Cloud & Citrix Engineer 

Location: Hybrid 4 days onsite in Irving, TX or Boca Raton, FL, Rochester NY or Knoxville, TN

Type: 6 month contract to hire

Notes

  • This role is responsible for designing, engineering, and operating the company's Citrix virtual application and desktop platforms across a hybrid infrastructure footprint that includes onโ€‘prem data centers, colocation facilities, and public cloud
  • This role focuses on advanced Citrix engineering, deep integration with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and the underlying compute platforms including VMware, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Google Compute Engine (GCE) as a cloudโ€‘native hypervisor.
  • Design, implement, and support Citrix DaaS/CVAD solutions across hybrid environments including onโ€‘prem and Google Cloud.
  • Engineer and support Citrix core components including Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Cloud Connectors, Machine Creation Services (MCS), Provisioning Services (PVS), and Workspace.
  • Design, configure, and support NetScaler / ADC and gateway services for secure remote access, load balancing, traffic management, and SSL/TLS.
  • Deep understanding of hybrid cloud infrastructure and cloudโ€‘native vs traditional hypervisor platforms.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with VMware virtualization (vCenter / ESXi).
  • Experience supporting or engineering hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) environments.
  • Strong Google Cloud Platform experience, including GCE, networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Citrix certifications (CCP, CCEโ€‘V, NetScaler), Google Cloud certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Network Engineer), and/or VMware certifications (VCPโ€‘DCV or equivalent).
