Position Overview

Vivian M. Suarez State Farm is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and customer-focused professional to join our service team as a Customer Service Representative. This role supports customers with policy servicing, billing, Citizens Insurance, coverage questions, documentation, and daily agency workflows.
Success in this role requires strong follow-through, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with insurance servicing is preferred, and proficiency in Citizens is a major plus.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service through phone, email, and in-office communication
  • Handle billing questions, payments, cancellations, reinstatements, and underwriting requests
  • Process endorsements, certificates, evidence of insurance, and policy changes
  • Support Citizens new business and renewals (training provided if needed)
  • Manage daily workflow, documentation, and follow-up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support sales team with customer retention, coverage reviews, and client communication
  • Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to accuracy, urgency, and service excellence
 
Qualifications

  • Must hold an 4-40 or 2-20 license (or be willing to obtain one immediately)
  • Previous insurance service experience preferred
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable work ethic
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong follow-through
  • Coachable, positive, and team-focused
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus
  • Experience with Citizens is a plus
