Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and administer their network infrastructure. The role involves overseeing Windows Server management, Microsoft 365 administration, and maintaining network security measures, while also providing user support and training.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage Windows Server (2012 or later) within an Active Directory domain.
• Manage Microsoft 365: user provisioning, mailbox management, Teams, SharePoint.
• Configure and support TCP/IP core services: LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP.
• Manage ACLs, GPOs, file/print services, automation tools.
• Provide support for VoIP systems and imaging/document management platforms.
• Install, configure, maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs.
• Administer Meraki wireless infrastructure and telecom systems.
• Monitor network health using PRTG, MRGT, and ManageEngine.
• Perform hardware/software updates and upgrades.
• Prepare documentation for compliance, audits, and internal reporting.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Deliver user training and technical support on network systems.
• Evaluate new technologies and assess risks/benefits.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience in network administration or support roles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft server environments, Microsoft 365, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki equipment and VoIP systems.
Preferred:
• 3+ years experience in supporting compliance-driven IT environments.
• Managing Windows Server 2012+ in Active Directory.
• Maintaining Microsoft 365 (accounts, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint).
