Job description

CyberLinx Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Primary Technical Lead) to serve as the primary technical lead for our IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems, leading complex projects, and providing Tier 3 support for escalated issues. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in servers, virtualization, networking, cloud technologies, and security.

Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical lead for infrastructure projects and daily operations Design, implement, and optimize enterprise systems and networks Manage Windows Server environments (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server) and virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V Configure and maintain enterprise firewalls, switches, and routers (e.g., Cisco Systems, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks) Oversee cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services) Implement and maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies Troubleshoot complex Tier 3 incidents and perform root cause analysis Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance Document systems, processes, and standard operating procedures
