Cloud Network Architect/SME
Client is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Architect to design, engineer and implement a secure high performance cloud network. This position will also design and implement operational procedures / guidance based on Companyi's requirements. The candidate will be instrumental in assisting company with current state analysis, migrations, measuring data flow requirements and cloud consumption optimization.
• 5+ years of hands on experience with Cisco networking
• 2+ years of hands on experience on AWS & Azure cloud networking design and implementation. 3+ years of hands on experience on securing cloud networks
• Experience in designing and building resilient cutting-edge technology on-prem and Cloud-based network infrastructure, including SDWAN, and Cloud architectures.
• Design, engineer, document, implement, Cloud-based network, enterprise, production and client network infrastructure solutions based on specific project needs and global strategy.
• Produce professional diagrams and documentation for networks and operational standard methodologies, standards, policies and procedures, using Visio and other productivity toolset.
• Experience in building, interconnecting and supporting networks into AWS Regions and Availability Zones.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience of AWS Transit VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect methodologies.
• Hands on Experience on Azure networking components like VPN, Gateway, DNS/Traffic Manager, ExpressRoute, Routing, NAT, Firewall, load balancing and security protocols.
• Cloud solutions for network security features, including WAF, IDS, IPS, DDoS protection, and Economic Denial of Service/Sustainability (EDoS)
• Designing, implementing and supporting on premise, off-premise and hybrid network infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in LAN/WAN, MPLS, QoS, multicast and core networking discipline, including advance routing protocols, BGP and OSPF, Network fabric, Software Defined Networking.
• Experience in IP converged networks. CIDR and sub-netting (IPv4 and IPv6)
• Any of the following certifications are highly preferred: Cisco CCDA/CCDP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Routing and Switching, Cisco CCNA/CCNP Security, Cisco CCNA/CCNP SP, CISSP etc. AWS network specialty/sysops certification
