Job Title : Cisco Network Infrastructure Administrator (with experience on Juniper MX and Cisco Nexus and AnyConnect, transport applications and Project Management etc.)

Job Location : Pleasanton, California (It is a suburb in the San Francisco Bay Area)

Job Type : Full time (This position may require travel and or relocation)

Required:

At least 7 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.

At least 6 years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, wireless access points and controllers.

Must have design implementation and operational experience with; Enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches (Juniper MX and Cisco Nexus preferred).

Knowledgeable in transport application and network infrastructure protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, CIFS, LDAP, and Microsoft AD).

Possess an understanding of how to support these applications/ protocols when accessed through VPN and firewall appliances.

Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, etc.).

Experience in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS (traffic engineering implementation).

Extensive experience in Load Balancers and operational experience across multiple vendors; preferably F5.

Planning and Co-ordination skills. Experience with project management.

Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.

Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications Basic:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent but should be from an accredited Institution/University. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
