Position Overview

Conducive Consulting is seeking an experienced Observability Engineer specializing in Cisco AppDynamics to lead implementations, optimizations, and performance engineering initiatives across client environments. This role requires expertise in application performance monitoring (APM), business transaction monitoring, and deep diagnostic capabilities within AppDynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and administer Cisco AppDynamics environments

Configure application agents (Java, .NET, Node.js) and machine agents

Define business transactions, health rules, policies, and alerts

Implement dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs

Conduct performance analysis and root cause investigations

Tune instrumentation for optimal performance and minimal overhead

Integrate AppDynamics with infrastructure monitoring and ITSM tools

Support cloud-native and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)

Deliver workshops and best-practice guidance to client stakeholders

Participate in solution design and pre-sales technical engagements

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Cisco AppDynamics (SaaS or On-Prem)
