Job description

Position: Surgical Technologist (Full Time)

Location: TOSC

Hours: 6:30a-6:30p, with varying shifts

General Job Duties:

  • Under the guidance of the OR Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing and partnering with the circulating nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patients under his or her care. By anticipating the needs of the surgeon, the surgical technologist provides assistance while maintaining an aseptic and safe surgical environment. In addition to OR duties, works as part of a team in room turnovers, case picking, and assisting with sterile processing as part of daily assignments. Qualifications include graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology (required) and current ORT certification (Preferred). Experience in Orthopaedics preferred.
