Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work you'll do

As a Manager, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for:

  • Advising clients on financial operations and financial reporting close activities in accordance with OMB Circular A-136 and OMB Circular A-123, Appendices A through D
  • Managing and coaching teams by setting priorities, overseeing day-to-day execution, and reviewing work products against contractual deliverables
  • Coordinating with stakeholders on financial statement audits, audit readiness activities, and internal control matters
  • Providing financial oversight and reporting support to help clients address compliance, reporting, and operational requirements
  • Leading workstreams that support finance transformation, process improvement, and controllership modernization efforts

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • 9+ years of government accounting experience
  • 2+ years of government accounting experience supporting Intelligence Community clients
  • Ability to work onsite in McLean, Virginia 5 days per week
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting financial statement audits and audit readiness activities
  • Experience applying OMB Circular A-136 and OMB Circular A-123, Appendices A through D
  • Experience managing teams and reviewing contractual deliverables in a federal client environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,300 to $240,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
