Job description

*In addition to a competitive base salary, this role offers an annual performance-based bonus opportunity starting at $12,000.The Privacy & AI Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization’s privacy, data protection, and AI compliance programs. This role serves as a subject matter expert and partners with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, IT, and business stakeholders to promote responsible data and AI practices and compliance with applicable requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the organization’s privacy, data protection, and AI compliance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor evolving privacy, data protection, and AI laws and regulatory requirements and translate them into operational requirements and controls.
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and privacy/AI compliance reviews for business initiatives, technologies, AI use cases, and third-party engagements.
  • Partner with the AI Director and cross-functional stakeholders to support responsible AI governance, risk assessment, inventories, and regulatory readiness.
  • Serve as the privacy subject matter expert for privacy incidents, including breach assessment, notification requirements, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain appropriate privacy and data governance documentation, including data inventories, processing records, and related compliance documentation.
  • Oversee the organization’s records retention program and support appropriate information lifecycle and disposition practices.
  • Partner with the Risk & Compliance Programs function to integrate privacy and AI risks into ERM, TPRM, regulatory compliance, and issues management processes.
  • Partner with Auditing & Oversight to support monitoring, testing, audits, and remediation involving privacy and AI compliance.
  • Develop and monitor privacy and AI compliance metrics and provide reporting to Compliance leadership and applicable governance committees.
  • Develop privacy and responsible-AI training content and awareness initiatives in coordination with appropriate enterprise partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders regarding privacy, data use, AI compliance, and emerging regulatory risks.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in compliance, law, privacy, risk management, information governance, business, or a related field; master’s degree or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, risk management, or a related discipline, including at least 5 years of substantive privacy and data protection experience.
  • CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, CDPSE, or comparable professional certification preferred.
  • Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, or emerging AI regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or managing privacy and data protection compliance programs.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into practical policies, controls, and business processes.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, IT, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, staffing, government contracting, or another highly regulated environment preferred.
