NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking dedicated Safety Representatives to join our team who have experience in the utility construction space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures related to overhead and underground electrical distribution. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety excellence.


  • Inspecting and Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of overhead and underground electrical distribution to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards associated with overhead and underground electrical distribution activities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees and contractors on safety protocols, procedures, and best practices for working with distribution systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant safety regulations and standards pertaining to power distribution systems and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training activities, and compliance documentation. Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as required.

  • 8+ years as a lineman is required
  • Attention to detail is paramount
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or related, preferred
  • Safety Licenses/Certifications preferred
    • CIH, CSP, CUSP, OSHT, CHS
  • Value a team environment and understanding supporting other individuals and teams
  • Must be residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or willing to relocate
  • Ability to responded within a 2 hour window
