What is Cigna Behavioral Health Remote?

Cigna Behavioral Health Remote refers to mental health services provided by Cigna that can be accessed virtually from anywhere. These services include therapy, counseling, psychiatry, and support for mental health and substance use concerns, all delivered through online platforms or phone calls. This remote model allows members to connect with licensed professionals without needing in-person visits, making mental health care more accessible and convenient. Cigna aims to support emotional well-being by offering a range of confidential services tailored to individual needs.

What is the typical workflow and collaboration process for remote behavioral health professionals at Cigna?

Remote Behavioral Health professionals at Cigna typically manage caseloads of members, conduct telephonic or video assessments, and create member-centered care plans. Collaboration is integral; team members regularly coordinate with primary care providers, therapists, and internal multidisciplinary teams via secure digital platforms to ensure comprehensive support. Professionals also participate in virtual team meetings and case consultations, fostering a supportive environment despite remote work. This structure allows for both independence in daily tasks and close collaboration on complex cases.
