This position offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to operate from the comfort of your home while maintaining direct engagement with clients through teletherapy. As part of our outpatient office practice, you'll be integrated into a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to establish their mental health status and treatment needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and cater to various mental health disorders.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, empowering clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their mental health challenges effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and ensure each client receives the support they need.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress within our electronic health record system to uphold compliance and ensure continuity of care.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, ranging from individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, to those dealing with eating disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will be essential in fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment. Cultural competence and sensitivity will be foundational in your approach to treatment, ensuring that each client's unique experiences and perspectives are considered.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of four years of post-graduate experience providing mental health counseling.
• A strong understanding of a variety of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy effectively, using methods that promote inclusivity and respect cultural differences.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for client management.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional boundaries.

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively, remaining calm under pressure.
• Previous work with underserved populations is a plus, reflecting a commitment to equitable mental health care.
