Job description
FUN and SPECTACULAR CUSTOMER SERVICE are at the heart of the Casino @ Dania Beach. If you are an experienced bartender and have the passion for serving guests, we welcome you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Join our Team, where WORK = FUN
What you will be doing
- Is responsible for overall cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
- Prepares and services beverages for servers and guests in a quick, efficient, friendly and professional manner.
- Serves food to guests.
- Multi-tasks several orders at once.
- Ensures that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol, including checking identification.
- Determines when a guest has had too much alcohol and contacts the manager on duty or security for assistance.
- Processes payments.
- Maintains inventory of the bar.
- Maintains an opening and closing check list.
- Answers general customer inquiries as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 3+ years of previous experience working as a Bartender preferred.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and energetic.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Will be required to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted.
- Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
- Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
