As a RISE Coffee Shop Fountain Worker, you will be responsible for excellent customer service ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Position: Part-Time, Hourly
Location: Gold Strike Casino - Tunica, MS
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take and place orders and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area, as applicable.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables, and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
• Pack and complete orders as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stocking and replenishing products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, and notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
  • One (1) year of experience of guest service experience.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, and beverage machines.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • This role includes frequent standing and bending.
  • Constant walking, reaching, balancing, and grasping items.
  • Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 80 lbs.
