Job description

  • Service a commercial lines book of business
  • Build and solidify relationships with existing clients through ongoing customer care
  • Handle endorsements, billing/payments, finance agreements, and policy transactions
  • Assist the Claims Coordinator when needed
  • Create new and renewal business submissions
  • Create letters, order loss runs, and obtain/order experience modifiers
  • Gather and help complete supplemental applications and supporting documentation
  • Issue certificates, evidence of insurance, auto ID cards, and binders
  • Process and mail policies
  • Create proposals for Producers
  • Track and process cancellations and audits
  • Issue and process bonds
  • Lead the renewal process in partnership with the Production team
  • Support one or more Producers and serve as first line of contact when the Producer is unavailable
  • Remarket accounts when necessary
  • Perform account rounding for existing Commercial Lines business
  • Complete rating and comparisons
  • Build carrier relationships and keep current with carrier updates and underwriting information
  • Maintain complete and accurate client and policy data and documents within operating systems
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3-7 years Commercial Lines insurance account management experience is required
  • Oklahoma and TX Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets
  • Experience with handling large, complex risks
  • Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, AINS, AAI, ARM, CRM, or CPCU are highly desirable
  • Proficient in PC operating systems - Applied Epic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Insurance Carrier websites
