Position Overview

Minno is seeking a highly organized, systems-minded Senior Content Operations Manager to build and run the operational foundation that moves video and audio content from intake through launch and post-launch management.

This role partners across Content, Product, Marketing, Distribution, Engineering, Data, and external partners to turn approved content priorities into reliable operational systems, including workflows, calendars, metadata standards, partner delivery processes, QA checkpoints, CMS routines, and launch-readiness practices.

The right person is both a builder and an operator: someone who can create repeatable systems, reduce manual work, coordinate across teams, and still stay close enough to the work to make sure launches happen accurately and on time.

This role reports to the Chief Product Officer

What You'll Do

  • Own and Continuously Improve Content Operations. Own and continuously improve Minno's end-to-end content operations framework, including content intake, asset management, metadata, QA, launch readiness, CMS administration, and post-launch support.
  • Own Content Calendar and Release Execution. Maintain a centralized content calendar that reflects approved audio and video content priorities and gives Content, Marketing, Product, and Operations shared visibility into upcoming launches and campaigns.
  • Ensure Launch Readiness and Quality. Create and manage launch checklists, QA standards, asset requirements, metadata standards, and readiness checkpoints so content launches accurately, consistently, and on schedule.
  • Manage Content Partner and Distribution Operations. Oversee operational relationships with content partners and distribution platforms, establishing delivery standards, coordinating inbound and outbound content deliveries, and ensuring timely, spec-compliant execution.
  • Improve Workflow Efficiency. Identify bottlenecks, reduce unnecessary handoffs, and implement workflow improvements, templates, documentation, automation, and AI-enabled efficiencies that save time and improve accuracy.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functionally. Serve as the operational connective tissue across Content, Marketing, Product, Operations, and external partners, ensuring priorities are clear, dependencies are visible, and launch risks are surfaced early.
  • Build Scalable Content Operations Execution Capacity. Establish a scalable approach for executing recurring content operations activities, including asset ingest, metadata management, QA, captions, artwork, CMS updates, and launch preparation.

What You'll Bring

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in content operations, media operations, streaming operations, publishing operations, digital asset operations, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience managing video and audio content workflows across intake, assets, metadata, QA, scheduling, CMS updates, launch readiness, and post-launch maintenance.
  • Strong project and process management skills with a track record of creating structure in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience maintaining content calendars, launch checklists, operational trackers, SOPs, or similar systems of record.
  • Experience coordinating with Content, Marketing, Product, Operations, Engineering, and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail around metadata, assets, captions, artwork, technical specs, and launch requirements.
  • Proven ability to reduce manual work, improve workflow clarity, and increase operational reliability.
  • Comfort using modern work management tools, spreadsheets, CMS platforms, AI tools, and automation to improve execution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Genuine alignment with Minno's Christian mission and enthusiasm for serving kids and families through media and technology.

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in video and audio streaming media, SVOD, OTT, kids/family entertainment, EdTech, faith-based media, digital publishing, YouTube/media networks, or subscription content businesses.
  • Experience managing metadata operations, taxonomy, CMS workflows, content ingestion, partner delivery, captions, artwork, or QA workflows.
  • Experience supporting a high-volume content catalog with recurring release cycles.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a junior coordinator, specialist, or operations contractor.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled workflow improvements, templates, reporting automations, or process documentation that reduced manual effort.
  • Experience in a growth-stage company where systems are still being built and the operator must be both strategic and hands-on.

Our Values

  • Biased towards Action: We take the initiative and make decisions quickly.
  • Curious, not Content: We are eager to learn and innovate.
  • Grit & Resilience: We persevere and follow through on our commitments.
  • Rigorous Intentionality: We pay attention to details and understand the "why" behind our work.
  • Think like Owners: We are resourceful and take wise risks.
  • Mutual Blessing: We operate generously on behalf of others.
  • Trust Builders: We gain confidence through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Adapt & Flex: We operate effectively in uncertain situations.

Location

Nashville, TN preferred. Open to remote for the right candidate.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Equity package
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Professional development opportunities, including key industry conferences and leadership development programs
