Print Production Assistant

Family Church Network

 

Position Overview:  Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting in the design, layout and proofing of printed materials and general operations for the communications department of the Family Church Network.   

 

Reports to:  Manager – Communications and Marketing

Prerequisites

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church
  • Affirm the FCN statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000
  • Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
  • Record of consistent, high-level performance.

  • Experience in print design/production work is preferred.
  • Experience in proof-reading/print layout is preferred.
  • Proficient with the publishing software, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable design software.


General Responsibilities

  • Coordinating print requests from various campuses and ministry areas.
  • Composing and distributing church-wide email communications.
  • Managing in-house print jobs such as programs, posters, banners, etc.
  • Managing personal workflow, including necessary documentation.
  • Maintaining inventories for print-related materials and supplies.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
  • Maintaining cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested.
  • Professionally communicating with leadership, peers, and campus pastors.
  • Demonstrating stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, intellectual property, etc.
  • Understanding and adhering to procedural guidelines and policies.
