What are church missions?

Church missions are organized efforts by a church or religious group to spread their faith, provide humanitarian aid, and support communities both locally and globally. These missions can involve activities such as evangelism, education, healthcare, disaster relief, and social services. The goal of church missions is often to share religious teachings while also addressing physical and spiritual needs of people in various regions. Churches may send individuals or groups to serve short-term or long-term, depending on the specific mission. Participation in missions can be a transformative experience for both those serving and those being served.
