Job description

Our Kids Point Learning Center here at Turning Point Church is seeking to hire additional assistant teachers. As classroom architects responsible for the education, care, and supervision of children ages birth through 4 years old, our assistant teachers help to promote positive interactions, plan and organize activities, and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
Requirements
Some of our preferred requirements are:
  • At least 21 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous daycare experience in supporting children's growth and development
  • Have a good understanding of DECAL licensing requirements
  • Have a genuinely caring and compassionate attitude when caring for children.
  • Strong communication (oral & written) and listening skills to converse with children, parents, and other personnel.
  • Willing to receive on-going training in compliance with center licensing
  • A faithful believer in Jesus Christ; high moral character and values
