Job description

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL AUGUST 10th, 2026.
JOB OBJECTIVE
To serve, teach, and bless K-3rd grade Kidzone participants and volunteers through positive and nurturing relationships. Assist the Kidzone Director in all areas of Centerpoint's after-school ministry, facilitating the day-to-day operations of Kidzone from the hours of 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Embody the mission and vision of Centerpoint Church
• Work scheduled hours of 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays on days that Kidzone is held.
• Implementing the day-to-day structure activities, and crafts of Kidzone
• Assisting in age-appropriate Christian discipleship opportunities
• Providing guidance and support to volunteers at Kidzone as needed
• Assisting in after-school ministry communication and administration
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
SPIRITUAL LIFE
Genuine Christian faith evidenced by character, prayer, study, and witness. Committed to the mission, vision, and values of Centerpoint Church.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Leadership Skills. Energetic and willing to innovate. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Committed to working in a team environment. Ability to recruit, equip, empower, and support teachers and volunteers. Aptitude in public relations, and a strong builder of support, partnership, and relationships across the church and community. First Aid/CPR/AED certified, bi-annually.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. An equivalent combination of related education and experience will also be considered. Previous work experience with children.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountable directly to the Kidzone Director, and ultimately to the Lead Pastor.
