Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Gen AI Tech Consultant with 12+ years of industry experience to drive the adoption and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of AI expertise, strategic consulting capabilities, healthcare industry knowledge, and hands-on technical experience to deliver innovative AI-powered solutions that generate measurable business value.
This role requires a trusted advisor who can bridge business and technology teams, define AI strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead enterprise AI transformation initiatives while ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted AI advisor for healthcare clients, providing thought leadership across AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation.
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of AI-driven solutions aligned with healthcare business objectives and operational challenges.
Translate complex AI concepts into clear business outcomes and value propositions for executives, stakeholders, and clinical teams.
Conduct AI opportunity assessments, identify high-value use cases, and develop strategic roadmaps for AI adoption.
Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder discussions to demonstrate AI capabilities and innovation opportunities.
Evaluate AI platforms, vendors, frameworks, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations based on scalability, security, compliance, and ROI.
Collaborate with architects, data scientists, engineering teams, and business leaders to deliver AI solutions from concept through production.
Drive discussions around AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, risk management, and healthcare compliance requirements.
Monitor market trends, industry innovations, and best practices to influence AI strategy and technology direction.
Contribute to client proposals, presentations, solution accelerators, and AI transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of overall IT industry experience.
Strong consulting and stakeholder management experience.
Proven experience leading enterprise AI and digital transformation initiatives.
Experience working within healthcare, payer, provider, or life sciences environments.
AI / Machine Learning & Large Language Models (Must Have)
Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG architectures, and semantic search.
Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise applications.
Knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, or pgvector.
Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and model evaluation techniques.
Python Backend Development
Strong expertise in Python development.
Experience with FastAPI, Django, and/or Flask.
Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend services.
Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns.
Hands-on experience with SQLAlchemy and database integration.
