A Christus EMS job involves working as an emergency medical services (EMS) professional within the Christus Health system. This can include roles such as EMTs and paramedics who provide pre-hospital emergency care and transport for patients in need. Responsibilities typically include assessing medical conditions, administering treatments, and ensuring patient safety during transport. Christus EMS employees work in a fast-paced environment, often collaborating with hospitals, fire departments, and law enforcement.
As a Christus EMS employee, your shifts may vary depending on your department's needs, but commonly involve 12- or 24-hour rotations to ensure round-the-clock coverage for emergency calls.
