Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at The Hospitals of Providence Gateway.   • Patient Volume: 13,000 estimated annual volume free-standing ER
  • Specialties: Imaging, Lab
  • Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage – 12 hour shifts
  • NP/PA coverage to be added as volumes increase
  • Number of Beds: 11 beds 
  • EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEA
  • Board Certification: Board Certified ABEM, ABFM, ABPS-EM
  • Experience: 2 years emergency medicine
  • Badges: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required if not ABEM.

Facility & Clinical Details

The Hospitals of Providence Emergency Room Gateway North ER is a brand new stand-alone emergency care clinic in El Paso, Texas opening in September 2026. This facility offers many of the services you would find in a standard hospital ER, such as diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine care, and lab services. This stand-alone clinic is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with physicians on-site at all times.
