Automotive Customer Service Representative/Shuttle Driver

Job Overview:

As an Automotive Customer Service Representative with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, and because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
  • Check guests in and out
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
  • Moving newly arrived vehicles, in progress as well as finished vehicles, around our parking lot in an organized manner
  • Driving vehicles to the front after the transaction is complete. Stay tuned in when a customer is checking out and assist the front desk staff with having the guest car delivered to the front of the shop
  • Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
  • Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
  • Keep the facility clean and organized
  • Responsible for occasionally test-driving vehicles 
  • Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes 
  • Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
  • Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload
  • Serve as a community ambassador for the store through creating authentic relationships and partnerships
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven successful customer service experience is required; driven to serve others
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and customers
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Mechanical Aptitude preferred but not required
  • Lube Tech Experience preferred but not required
  • Meet required insurance driving record parameters
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a Team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
  • Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
  • The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
