Details Client Name Christian Hospital - AH Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession RN Specialty Wound Care Job ID 35467844 Job Title Registered Nurse - Wound Care @ Christian Hospital Weekly Pay $2372.0 Shift Details Shift Day - 8x5 - 07AM Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order Details Start Date 07/13/2026 End Date 10/12/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Wound Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: Wound Ostomy Care certification, BCLS, NIH Must-Have: Wound Ostomy Care certification required. 1 year minimum experience required. Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Weekend requirement: 1 shift every 6 weeks. No on-call requirement. Will float within scope to meet facility needs.

Description: Responsible for VAC changes and dressing changes. Rover for photos of wounds. Working in an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed beds.

Daily duties include patient care for individuals with wounds needing wound care treatment. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Skills required include management and self-care teaching for catheters, colostomy/ileostomy care, wound assessment, and management of various types of ulcers.

Ability to perform sharp debridement, mechanical debridement, and wet-to-damp dressing changes. Experience with wound vac therapy is essential.
