CBN News – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), a leader in Christian media, is seeking a top-notch Videographer to produce network quality video packages involving location lighting, video/audio recording, directing techniques, and field editing. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in video field production, or a B.A. in video production
  • Working knowledge of state-of-the-art video camera, lighting and audio production techniques and equipment operation
  • Ability to perform advanced remote production functions involving lighting, directing and audio recording
  • Knowledge of TV production in remote locations
  • Basic editing skills using Adobe Premiere
  • Ability to follow direction, work as an effective production team member and/or independently, to include performing as a One Man Band on field assignments
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to make timely decisions
  • Ability to give directions clearly, as well as take directions
  • Ability to travel extensively and work nights and weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
  • Demonstrate life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
