What is a Christian legal professional?

Christian legal professionals are lawyers, attorneys, or legal advisors who integrate their Christian faith with the practice of law. They may work in various legal fields while upholding Christian values, serving clients with integrity, compassion, and ethical standards inspired by their beliefs. Some may focus on cases involving religious freedom, church law, or provide legal assistance to faith-based organizations. Their work often includes advising churches, nonprofits, and individuals on legal matters while adhering to both legal and biblical principles.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Christian legal professional?

To thrive as a Christian Legal professional, you need a law degree, bar admission, and a strong understanding of both secular law and Christian ethics. These skills ensure ethical, knowledgeable representation that aligns with both legal and Christian principles, serving clients effectively within specialized contexts.

Job Description:

Bosson Legal Group, PC (BLG) is a boutique law firm in Fairfax/Merrifield, VA that specializes in litigation at the trial and appellate levels. The Firm handles a diverse array of legal matters, including business and employment law, Constitutional and civil rights claims, serious personal injury, National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program claims, Defense Base Act claims, and estate planning and administration. We provide superior, principled, and client-focused legal services – empowering clients, seeking justice, and serving those in need. Our mission is to practice law with excellence, empathy, and integrity – one client at a time. Our firm values are:

  • Excellence. Professional, respected, focused, and humble.

This position requires full-time, in-person work at our Fairfax office, Monday-Friday during regular business hours. More flexible arrangements for occasional remote work and/or adjusted daily schedules are available once associates are well established in their assignments and firm expectations. BLG prioritizes experiential learning, mentorship, and collaboration among new associates and has found that regular, in-office work in the early stages of employment has been the most effective strategy for new associates in this practice area.

Requirements:
Licensed to practice in Virginia; 1-4 years of experience (trial experience preferred); alignment with the mission and values of the Firm.
