Currently Hiring: 1st Shift Security Guard (Seasonal)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 0800-1600 hrs. (8:00AM-4:00pm)
Rate: $16.00 per hour

School Days Only ** if school is not in session, you will not be working **
Allegiance Security is seeking two dependable and professional Security Officers for Spartanburg School District 6. These positions are specifically assigned to student restroom monitoring during the school day.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Patrol and monitor assigned student restrooms throughout the school day.
  • Help prevent students from loitering or congregating in restrooms between classes.
  • Maintain a professional and visible security presence in assigned restroom areas.
  • Observe and report any inappropriate, suspicious, or unauthorized activity.
  • Immediately notify designated school staff of any issues using a two-way radio.
  • Complete incident or activity reports as required.

Observe and Report Position
This is strictly an Observe and Report position. Security Officers are not responsible for disciplining students or physically intervening in student-related incidents. Any issues or concerns will be immediately communicated to designated school personnel by two-way radio.
Schedule & Pay
Officers will normally work Monday through Friday from 08:000-1400hrs. (8:00AM-4:00PM) while school is in session.
This position follows the Spartanburg School District 6 school and holiday calendar. When school is closed for holidays, breaks, teacher workdays, or other scheduled closures, officers will not report unless otherwise directed.
Officers are paid for actual hours worked. This is not a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week, year-round position. Hours will vary based on the District's school calendar, early dismissals, scheduled closures, and other changes to the school schedule.
You will have:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening
  • Ability to work all shifts
  • Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders
  • Ability to cope with stressful work situations
  • Physical stamina and dexterity
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Guard License
