WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Make timely and accurate deliveries of Fuel to client’s facilities as specified by dispatch.
  • maintain client relationships, where applicable, and provide sales leads to the sales force as they arise.
  • Comply with all safety requirements at Christensen and customer locations.
  • Wear the provided and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all designated areas at all times
  • Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles and equipment as necessary, and report maintenance issues

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess a valid Commercial Class A driver’s license with tanker, combination, and hazmat endorsements.
  • Have previous 2 years’ commercial driving experience.
  • Tech Savvy.
  • A working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
  • A knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing
  • Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and successfully pass Christensen’s road test
  • Willing to drive in the snow and ice.
  • Hook and unhook hoses and open and close valves
