SCOPE:

ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Delivery Driver at Christensen (Tankers and Hazmat endorsements required), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fuel, lubricants, and propane to our diverse clientele. Your role is crucial in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining product quality, and upholding our reputation for exceptional customer service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company and DOT regulations.
  • Load, transport, and unload products safely to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS
  • Outside weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing
  • Lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
