This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Specialty Additives function. This position will report to Site Leader.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Owns, oversees, and manages the movement, storage, and distribution of site raw materials and finished goods.This role leads a distinct team at the Hopewell site that performs critical functions to ensure the Operating Units have the raw materials they need and that the finished products reach their final destinations with the compliance, quality, and expediency necessary to make Ashland the provider of choice.The role is integral in site safety and compliance, warehousing/cycle counting, product tolling, and 3rd party storage. The role is highly collaborative with onsite and offsite resources to control inventory, ensure appropriate transportation, negotiate with key vendors, and to continually optimize the entire process.Ashland is looking for an experienced leader that can balance the technical skills needed for the job with the soft skills needed to maximize the capability of the onsite team.In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:Bachelor's Degree at a minimum from an accredited university5-10+ years of manufacturing or supply chain experience3+ years of supervisory and leadershipSAP (or equivalent)Experience in a fast paced, multi-faceted organizationIn more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
