Brand Ambassador - Sales Demonstrator
$20 - $22 per hour - Part Time

Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods, LLC, a leading innovator, marketer and producer of quality branded and custom dog and cat foods is looking for Brand Ambassadors. As a Brand Ambassador you will be engaging customers and educating consumers about the Breeder’s brand of pet foods and products in stores and at events on the weekends.

We are looking for the right individuals to introduce the Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods’ brands of pet foods and products to customers and consumers in stores and at events increasing awareness and sales. Under the supervision of a Territory Sales Manager, the Brand Ambassador shares product information and samples.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Stays educated and informed about the Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods’ brands, products, advantages, nutritional values, quality and Breeder’s Choice’s love and concern for pets and animals.
  • Sets up table with product information, brochures, samples and coupons at stores and event venues.
  • Starts conversations and engages with customers and event participants about their pets.
  • Helps customers find the products that best meets the needs of their pets from the Breeder’s Choice product lines.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must have an interest in pets and access to a dependable and reliable vehicle with evidence of automobile insurance.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
  • Professional appearance and attitude required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Enjoys conversations and meeting new people.
  • Willingness to drive to stores and events in designated sales territory.
  • Ability to increase interests and sales of brands and products.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Results oriented with the ability to anticipate work needs while interacting and communicating professionally with customers, store personnel and supervisor.
  • Must have empathy for animals, preferring candidates who are dog or cat owners.
  • Must have access to a smartphone or tablet in order to log time, activities and pictures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge and experience with pets and pet products preferred.
Enjoys learning and staying up-to-date about pet nutrition, pet products and pet health.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Prolonged periods standing and interacting with customers and event participants.
Requires local travel to pet product stores and pet related events.
Requires some interaction with dogs and cats at stores and events.
