Durham Chiropractic office seeking a friendly, outstanding, self-motivated Chiropractic Assistant/Medical receptionist to join our team. Part time - Wednesday-Saturday shifts (half days Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and full day Thursday).

The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with chiropractic medicine, enjoy working with people, have some insurance knowledge, able to multi-tasking and managing patient/office flow with attention to detail.

Office Responsibilities:

  • Greeting patients, check-in/check-out
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Answering phones, messages, emails
  • Verifying and updating insurance benefits
  • Taking and recording payments
  • Scanning and filing
  • Performing passive therapies-electrical stim, heat, ice, traction (this involves physical contact with patients, i.e. touching and close physical contact)
  • General office cleaning and maintenance (tidying at end of day)

Shift hours are: Wednesday: 1:30 pm-6 pm, Thursday: 8 am-12 pm & 2 pm-6 pm, Friday 8am-1pm, Saturday 8 am-12: 30 pm.

Must have own transportation, be willing and able to float between both locations if needed (other office location in Cary).

Must complete the Board Certification course for Chiropractic Assistants in NC (One day class and Exam)

Staff receives optional Simple IRA after six months of employment with 3% employer match and free chiropractic care.

Starting pay is $15.00/hour, adjustable depending on qualifications and experience.
