Requirements:

POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Direct patient care, including performing chiropractic therapies such as E-Stim and exercises with patients

· Patient information must be managed with strict confidentiality and professionalism

· Manage in-person, phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication with professionalism

· Assist the chiropractor with patient care, including positioning patients and preparing equipment

· Facilitate multiple patient intakes, providing exceptional customer connections by addressing individual inquiries and concerns

· Collect patient health vitals and ensure accuracy within electronic health records (EHR) system

· Educate patients on treatment procedures and home care plans.

· Provide information on follow-up visits, instructions or referrals

· Process payments and manage outstanding balances

· Perform other administrative and chiropractic duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma required or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration is a plus.

· Certification as a Chiropractic Assistant, required

· Ability to acquire CA Certification within 6 months, required

· Ability to acquire CA II X-ray certification

· Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is preferred.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency with healthcare & office software, including scheduling and billing systems; ChiroTouch experience a plus

· Adaptability to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced environment, as this role involves active, on-the-go responsibilities.

· Physical stamina to assist with patient positioning and preparing equipment

· Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist. Some positions may require more physical activity.

WORK SCHEDULE

Work Schedule: 8.5 hour shifts, either closing or opening from M-F with occasional 4 hour shifts on Saturdays. Flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate patient needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
