Salary: Starting at $95,000 annually
Location: On-site in Midtown Manhattan (one block from Grand Central Terminal)
Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Full-time, 5 days per week

About Us
Our office provides chiropractic care while working closely alongside physical therapy and acupuncture services to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic. This is an on-site leadership position. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, leading teams, and creating an outstanding experience for both patients and staff.
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and work alongside our current Practice Manager during the training and transition period.
Position Overview
The Practice Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic while continually improving efficiency, patient satisfaction, and team performance. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing a busy out-of-network chiropractic office and understands the unique challenges associated with chiropractic billing, insurance reimbursement, patient communication, and staff management.
This role requires someone who can work autonomously, identify opportunities for improvement without being asked, and develop systems that help the practice operate more effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of a busy multidisciplinary healthcare clinic
  • Ensure efficient workflows across front desk, billing, and administrative departments
  • Monitor office performance metrics and implement improvements when needed
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and best practices
  • Identify inefficiencies and create systems to improve productivity and patient experience

Billing & Revenue Cycle Management

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of an out-of-network chiropractic billing operation
  • Review claims for accuracy and reimbursement trends
  • Identify underpaid, denied, and delayed claims
  • Investigate reimbursement issues and implement solutions
  • Work closely with billing staff to resolve claim errors and payment discrepancies
  • Develop processes to reduce recurring billing issues
  • Generate reports and analyze financial and operational data
  • Monitor collections, outstanding balances, and revenue performance

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, support, and mentor administrative staff
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and hold team members accountable
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and staff development as needed
  • Address workplace concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and effectively

Patient Experience

  • Serve as a resource for patients regarding billing, financial policies, and office procedures
  • Handle sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
  • Resolve patient concerns and complaints in a manner that strengthens trust and satisfaction
  • Maintain a welcoming and patient-centered office culture

Reporting & Analytics

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and operational dashboards
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Track key performance indicators and present findings to ownership
  • Use data to drive decision-making and improve practice performance

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a chiropractic or physical therapy office
