Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's specific needs, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and education.
  • Guiding patients through both active and passive exercises, muscle re-education techniques, and functional training to enhance mobility and independence.
  • Providing education to patients and their families on effective pain management strategies and best practices for rehabilitation.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
